150th Anniversary of Birkenhead School.

Both the School & the OB Society will be celebrating the Anniversary with a number of events during 2010 and 2011.

As events are finalised they will be advertised on the websites.

The Archives team will be publishing part two of "The Pictorial History of Birkenhead School - 1960 -2010" to be launched at the OB Weekend in the Archives.

Subscribe in advance for a copy before 30th June 2010 and your name can be added to the subscribers list printed in the book.

Welcome Back!

As part of the School’s 150th Celebrations during 2010-2011, the Headmaster, John Clark, and colleagues are hosting a series of ‘Welcome Back’ Dinners at the School. The first dinner is for the Leavers of 1988 and 1989 on Saturday 1st May. John Clark would like to send you an invitation but we are having trouble tracing YOU. THE ARCHIVES

Please note that from 8th July 2010 the Archives Group will not meet on a Monday morning at 44 Bidston Road for an indefinite period due to the building being underpinned. Emails will be read from time to time but the Archivists will not have access to much of their records.
