The Birkonians Australian Association, or BAA, is an informal network of alumni of schools in Wirral who now live "down under". The Association was set up a number of years ago and includes alumni of Birkenhead School, Birkenhead High School, Birkenhead Institute and Birkenhead Park High School. Unfortunately the OBS lost contact with this group for a number of years but in 2009 OB Tony Moody took on the editorship of the BAA Newsletter which is distributed by email.
