Annual General Meeting and Society Weekend 11th and 12th September 2010

- OBS V School Hockey Match - McAllester Field 10am
- Guided School Tours – 10am – 12:30pm Meet at "The Lodge", Beresford Road
- Launch of the "Birkenhead School Pictorial History part 2 1960-2010"
- Annual General Meeting in “Big School” with access through the new Prep block followed by Lunch in the Dining Hall - 12:30pm
- School Rugby Match – Noctorum Field 2:30 pm
- Dinner Dance – Sports Hall Marquee 7pm
Birkenhead School 150th Anniversary Dinner Dance
To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the School, the Society will be holding a dinner dance in the events marquee at the School. All Old Birkonians and their partners are welcome.
Whilst we recognise this will be a special occasion and many will treat it as a black tie event, as some members will be travelling great distances, blazers or lounge suit will be quite acceptable.
The event will include:-
· Champagne reception courtesy of our past president Graham Richards
· 3 course dinner catered by award winning ‘Heathcotes’
· Dance Band ‘Episode’ in the events marquee – including two old Birkonian musicians
· Quiet rooms and Bar in McAllester Building
· Year group tables of 10 or 12 people
We already have a number of year group leaders and will also keep an up to date acceptance list on our website – please stay in touch and encourage your contemporaries to attend.
The cost will be £40 a head, with a concessionary rate of £20 for full time students.
