This month we are looking for help with our collection of "The Birkonian".
We are lucky that we have a full bound set of the early copies and a full run of recent issues. However, for the period 1955 to 1965 our collection is rather poor.
It is not helped by the fact that the numbering system was also changed at this time and we cannot work out whether each of the years had two or three issues. Previously each year was given a new volume number and each issue of that year a part number. From about 1958 the volume number was kept for a number of years. Are there any members of the Editorial Staff for that era who can tell us why the numbering system was changed?
If anyone has any issues for this period tucked away in an attic and they no longer wish to keep hold of them we would be most grateful for them so that we can complete our set.
