Colin
Reeves (53-67) was educated from the prep under Mrs Coggan in 1953 until 1967 when Mr Gwilliam was headmaster.
He represented the school at cricket, hockey, athletics, cross country and chess.
After obtaining an MA in Economics at Clare College, Cambridge (196770), Colin obtained a PhD in Monetary Economics at
University College of North Wales, Bangor (197073).
After spending 11 years in local government he joined the NHS in 1984 and since 1994 has been the national Director of Finance of the NHS with responsibility for a budget of over £40 billion. He was appointed a CBE in the Queens Birthday Honours List.
He lives with his wife, Christine, and two daughters in Goring-on-Thames and still returns to Wirral to visit his father.
