We are grateful to the Old Birkonian Society who have agreed to provide funding for the provision of six Access Scholarship Awards for the Sixth Form for the academic year 2020-2021. Access Scholarship Awards are given to external students of an exceptional academic standard wishing to enter the Sixth Form at Birkenhead School.
The Old Birkonian Society Council, who administer the Endowment Fund and the War Memorial Trust, and the Birkenhead School Foundation Trust provide significant funding for Scholarships and Bursaries at the School every year. The Scholarship awards, given at Years 7 and Lower Sixth, are to commend those who excel academically, and Bursaries are given to families whose children would benefit from a place at Birkenhead School but for whom private education would not otherwise be possible.
